Starting therapy can be a vulnerable step, and I honor the courage it takes to trust someone with your story. My goal is to create a space where people feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered to heal andgrow. I work with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, divorce, eating issues, anger, unhealthy coping patterns, andmajor life transitions.
My approach blends practical tools with deeper healing work. I draw from evidence-based approachesincluding Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I am also trained in Brain spotting, a powerful brain and body-based therapy that helps clients process trauma, triggers, and deeply rooted emotional pain. I enjoy helping clients strengthen communication, regulate emotions, rebuild relationships, establish healthier boundaries, and reconnect with who they are beneath the painand survival patterns.
In addition to my clinical work, I bring 15 years of experience serving in church-based recovery and 12-step ministry, where I facilitated groups and mentored individuals working through addiction, resentment, bitterness, trauma, and struggles related to self-worth, purpose, and a lost sense of self. Those experiences deeply shaped the compassion, honesty, and hope I bring into the counseling room. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for premarital and marital couples and have previously worked as a fitness instructor and health coach, tailoring wellness programs for whole-person health.
I’ve been married for 24 years and have 3 amazing children. I’m a writer of things, a lover of beauty, truth seeker, adventurer, hiker, wonder chaser, hug giver, and hope harbinger. My faith is foundational to who I am and shapes the compassion and hope I bring into the counseling process. I believe your storymatters because your life matters, and there is purpose even in the painful parts of the journey. Healing and transformation are not only possible—they are probable when we are willing to step into the work with courage and grace.
